All glory to God

So- I knew I'd be back with more grace miracles and an update on Jaycee's weight and breathing difficulties we're going through, and here I am. We had a weight check and doctor's appt. last Thurs. and, Praise God- she had gained 8 ounces, which is an answer to prayer and so reassuring. Thank you Jesus!

We're scheduled to see a pediatric EarNoseThroat doctor next month b/c she still has difficulty breathing through her nose and has very enlarged tonsils. I feel like my daughter eats all the time, my Mom has testified that she far out-eats Timothy, and my sister in law Jill (mother of 3, 1 in utero) has also told me that none of her kids has ever eaten like my petite, delicately featured, tiny little girl. She's just ravenous and proof that looks are deceiving. Also proof that kids with a higher resting metabolic rate than most need to eat a lot, so we're just feeding her as much as she wants. And all the time. But I'm fine with that, she's listening to her body, and we're listening to her, and we're still praying over her and trusting. She has a very limitless Father.

So, for your entertainment, here she is, doing what she loves best with Timmy, and yes she did eat more of the delicious orange stuff than he did, and isn't my 3-yr-old helper just so.... helpful:)

Blessings to all- Katelyn

Hi Schros! I just found your blog thru "lurking" on others. How fun. I am glad that Jaycee has gained weight and I'll be praying that they can figure out any other problems. My cousin's baby used to eat more than me (well, not pregnant me) and eventually he outgrew that and eats normally now.

Hey Katelyn! Thanks so much for my voicemail the other day. I didn't forger and I know a good friend would have called you back. ;) Good thing I'm not a good friend. I'm glad to hear Jaycee is gaining some weight. I'll say alittle prayer that the specialist will be able to help. I love you and miss you. I get to see you on the 19th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So glad to hear baby J is packing on the pounds!!! I recently saw a report linking lack of weight development to sleep apnea (which with enlarged tonsils is a possibility). You may want to ask your ENT at the appointment. Love you all, pray for you always!!

Katelyn! Thanks for visiting my blog and for your comment, and I totally knew what you were saying the first time around. :)

Anyway, what a beautiful girl you have, I haven't seen her in awhile. I had no idea she was struggling w/weight issues. Will pray for her! But it looks like she's gaining and that is good. If she ever needs an eating buddy, I'm game. It's one of my favorite past times, too!

Love hearing from you... hope to see you around soon and am so excited you have a blog! T
